Hwy 163, Utah. After navigating the stressful
Moki
Dugway and visiting
Goosenecks
State Park (Hwy 261), my first time
I turn right on Hwy 163 and the first stop is the small town of Mexican Hat,
named after the Rock that looks like a "Mexican Hat".
I stop at the gas station for some coffee, and I am served by a Mexican women,
then I remember that they are native Indians.
Then I continue West on Hwy 163 towards
Monument
Valley. Gradually the monuments become closer and closer,
I stop for a sandwich and admire the view, this is my third visit and I relish
the view, I know what I will see next,
but the light does not look good, my photo's will be crap this time. Shit, I am
sad, I still remember the perfect weather back
in 1995. Even worst my hotel tonight is in Page and I realise that I will have
to drive in the dark, I just hate that.
